Ha’s is a vegetarian Chinese restaurant from the crew behind The Queens Kickshaw and Wassail, bringing some spicy, complex, primarily Sichuan-derived cooking to Astoria. The food program was also inspired by the familiar flavors and formats of American-Chinese cuisine.

 
 
 
 
 

ABOUT THE CHEF

Eric Simpson is an east coast native who has been a chef in New York City for over a decade, running kitchens for chefs including Paul Liebrandt (Corton; The Elm) and Missy Robbins (Lilia). Outside of the kitchen, Eric is a lover of cats and cycling.
